Undergraduate Scholarships – Somaliland
If you are a resident of Somaliland, you may be eligible to apply for an undergraduate scholarship.
We manage scholarship programmes in Somaliland for students who demonstrate both academic potential and personal need. Our current programmes include scholarships for undergraduate students at local universities, with priority given to young women and those pursuing studies in fields that contribute to community development.
Eligibility
Eligibility criteria
Applicants must:
Be enrolled in Year 2 of one of the following courses: Dentistry, Midwifery, Laboratory Sciences, Nursing, Public Health
Have achieved a minimum Year 1 GPA of 3.0.
Demonstrate personal need, including at least one of:
From a low-income family
Orphan
Close relatives not working
Applicant with a disability
Family opposition to attending university
First female in the family to join higher education
Submit a signed note of approval from their Academic Dean.
Benefits
Number of awards and value
10 scholarships in total.
Tuition fees only, up to USD $600 per academic year.
Support is available for up to three years (Years 2–4 of study).

Edna Adan University Scholarships
Through our partnership with Edna Adan University (EAU) in Hargeisa, we provide undergraduate tuition scholarships for students in health-related programmes. These awards support academically strong students who face financial or social barriers to higher education. The scholarships cover tuition fees only, for up to three years of study.
